Poker Room Review - Bellagio

Bellagio’s poker room is arguably the best poker room in Las Vegas. With 7,000square feet of space it is not the largest poker room but what it lacks in size it makes up for in other ways. There are forty tables in the poker room and it can get crowded at times. Space is often cramped and players brushing and bumping your chair is not an uncommon thing. Bellagio offers table side dining, beverage service, cashier’s cage and several plasma screens to view sporting events.

Bellagio easily offers the widest selection of games in Las Vegas. For the limit Texas Hold’em players there is 4-8, 8-16, 15-30, 30-60, 100-200 and often on the weekends higher, much higher. The no-limit Texas Hold’em players are in luck as well. You can almost always find a 1-2, 2-5, 5-10 and a 10-20 no-limit game. The other games Bellagio offers tend to cater towards the higher limit players. You can find a 20-40 stud game, a 30-60 Omaha Hi/Lo game and a 50-100 mixed game. Last but not least, if you want to play ridiculously high there is always Bobby’s room. They usually wager amounts that will make your average middle class person want to vomit.

Bellagio offers one of the highest daily tournament buy-in in town. Sunday through Thursday they offer a 2PM tournament with a $330 buy-in. Players start with 10,000 in chips and levels are thirty-five minutes long. Fridays and Saturdays there is a 2PM tournament with a $540 buy-in and players start with 10,000 in chips and levels are forty minutes long. Unlike most daily tournaments, Bellagio offers satellites for their daily tournaments. Satellite registration begins at 9AM daily.

Bellagio poker room offers a reward program for its players by giving them $1 an hour for every hour of play. Players who play higher limits can earn $1.50 an hour. The dollar value can then be used at the gift shop or for food.

Bellagio is arguably the best poker room in Las Vegas. While the quarters may be a little cramped, the game selection is without equal. From the low rollers to the people who wager five and six figures, Bellagio has something for everyone. For those of you whose heroes wear hoods and fire chips instead of wearing capes and firing laser beams, Bellagio is an excellent place to get a glimpse of the superstars of poker.
